stuff i directed
rain dogs - anatomy of a scene the goal is not to ask all of your amazing questions. the goal is to participate in a conversation that gets other people talking.
the affair - headlights maura tierney raves about this shoot, “someday someone will explain to me what the hell i just did and why”.
smilf - dunk as far as you know, i don’t still complain about not clearing “sirius” by the alan parson’s project for the final edit. (co-director - rachele honner)
hunted - fall this spot has everything: wire stunts, conspiracy walls, blood fx, loading a gun for visual and audio impact - all that for a show you have never heard of. peak tv! (co-director guido caretto)

stuff i wrote
colbert election special if you ask anyone to name the single most remarkable thing about the 2016 election, they’ll most likely mention this campaign. (promax winner)
masters of sex - this man in retrospect, i underestimated michael sheen’s sex appeal, even in suspenders. (key art award winner for copywriting)
homeland - triangle the first time someone builds a set from your script, actors show up, put on costumes & make-up and pretend to do the things you wrote has a way of staying in your heart.
ray donovan - heavy bag i had three days and a couch-cushion budget to put this together and ended up getting liev on set for only 20 minutes. luckily, i also had ray burris on the edit and bill lacey on the mix to take this to the next level.

stuff i produced
the righteous gemstones - trailer danny mcbride and co. have created a marketing-proof series. it’s impossible to screw things up with the quality of the product they deliver.
rain dogs - trailer a new series about familial dysfunction and life on the edge of poverty with an unfamiliar cast poses the kinds of challenges i love finding a solve for.
shameless - goodbye fiona what if we grabbed a still from every episode of the show that she was in? we have someone who can do that, right?
escape at dannemora - trailer a funny thing to do is try to impress ben stiller with all the cool ideas you have for his show and then have him not like any of them and then start from scratch in the room with a pencil, some paper and a willingness to listen. i have learned to save time by skipping to the last step. (golden trailer - winner)

key art/design stuff
shameless - last call we made the inspired choice to lean into the large and dynamic cast to immortalize the final season of showtime’s number one show with an iconic image to celebrate an iconic series, telling a story of communal love and togetherness with art that features the raucous energy audiences loved about the show. the bleeding, oversaturated colors conjure the feeling of those nights that get blurry in the best way possible.
smilf - bad momma you’re lucky when you get to promote television shows that tell interesting stories, but the sweet spot is when you can tell an interesting story yourself in the process. (2x promax winner)
the circus - tease the foundation of this spot is a script that i love, but it’s jennifer epstein’s beautifully simple design and animation that makes this one of my favorite projects.
the affair - season 2 this image developed organically from the mysterious car accident at the heart of the scripts for season 2 of the affair. we discussed headlights, shadows and tricks of the light and how all of those things play into the interwoven and conflicting narratives integral to the show’s storyline. the result was this beautiful bit of portraiture utilizing negative space to bring the haunting drama at the heart of the series to the forefront.
